Allowah Children's Hospital Allowah cares for children and young people up to the age of 16 years with physical and intellectual disabilities such as genetic or chromosomal disorders, birth trauma, cerebral palsy, head injuries and diseases acquired after birth.Our goal is to make a real difference to the lives of these children and young people with disabilities by providing the highest quality of skilled medical and nursing care as well as individual programmes which enable each child to develop and achieve his or her full potential. We are currently redeveloping the hospital to provide better facilities to meet the growing needs of children and young people with disabilities and to meet the regulations of the Department of Health. Without any government funding we rely on the community to support us.
Chatswood Sunrise Rotary Club Read how On 5 March, 2007 The Rotary Foundation approved a Matching Grant to Chatswood Rotary for funding to help provide cattle for economically deprived families in the Peda Kancharia Village of Vinukonda Mandal, India.
House With No Steps Their mission is to make the most of people's abilities through quality support services. House With No Steps is a project of The Wheelchair and Disabled Association of Australia, established in 1962 to provide quality support services for people with disabilities. Over the past 40 years they have developed into an organisation with diversified projects in New South Wales and Queensland.They currently employ over 450 supported employees, and provide services to more than 1400 people with disabilities.
